1. Scope
This policy covers personal information collected through the AmbiAutomation website (ambiautomation.ambimat.com) and the AmbiAutomation mobile and web application.
2. What we collect
When you fill out a contact or demo-request form, we collect the details you provide: name, work email, mobile number, company, and any message you choose to send us.
For our products and apps used by customers, we additionally collect operational telemetry from the on-site server (device health, configured schedules, alarm events) as required to deliver the service. This data is governed by the customer agreement.
2a. Cookies & analytics
The site supports optional Google Analytics 4 / Google Tag Manager integration. Where analytics is enabled, the site sets first-party cookies for the purpose of measuring aggregate site usage — visits, page views, referrer source, and path through the site. IP addresses are anonymised. We do not use analytics to identify individual visitors, and we do not share analytics data with advertisers.
If you prefer not to be measured, browser-level "Do Not Track" signals or content-blocking extensions are sufficient to opt out. The contact form does not depend on analytics being enabled, so opting out does not affect your ability to reach us.
When the site is deployed without a configured analytics container ID, no cookies are set and no analytics requests are sent — the site is then fully cookie-free.
3. How we use it
- Respond to your enquiry.
- Send the requested datasheet, savings model, or deployment plan.
- Provide and support the AmbiAutomation product.
- Improve our products and services in aggregate.
We do not sell or trade your personal information.
4. Sharing
We share personal information only with service providers required to operate our services (e.g. cloud hosting, email delivery) and only to the extent necessary. Those providers are bound by confidentiality obligations.
5. Retention
Enquiry data is retained as long as needed to respond to the enquiry and for our legitimate business interests (typically up to 24 months), unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
6. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. Email support@ambimat.com.
7. Security
The website is served over HTTPS only. Form submissions are encrypted in transit. Backend systems use access controls and encryption at rest. The on-site server uses encrypted backhaul over TLS.
