- The system was a microcontroller-based unit used to control and monitor switching of Up-Converter from its front panel in Local/Remote modes.
- The system also controls and monitors the switching path of two up converters in the up link transmit chain.
- After being housed in a rack mountable 2U chassis the fabricated system was successfully subjected to a 168 hour Burn-in Test inside the laboratory.
