AmbiAutomation is the building-automation product line of the Ambimat Group, an Indian embedded-electronics manufacturer operating since 1981. Hardware, firmware, supervisory application, and field deployment all sit under one engineering organisation in Ahmedabad — accountable to one customer agreement, from site survey through long-term operation.
What we do
Retrofit automation for existing VRV / VRF systems.
AmbiAutomation engineers, manufactures, and deploys retrofit automation for commercial VRV and VRF air-conditioning systems. We own the on-site automation server (HVAC Bridge Board), the firmware, the supervisory mobile and web application, and the field deployment process. Customers contract one organisation from site survey through long-term operation.
The product focus is deliberate. Most VRV / VRF systems already in service in Indian commercial real estate expose BACnet IP or MODBUS RTU on the equipment side — they are already capable of centralised control. The gap is the supervisory layer above the equipment, not the equipment itself. AmbiAutomation builds and delivers that supervisory layer as a retrofit, without forcing HVAC replacement.

Ambimat Electronics has been designing and manufacturing electronics in India since 1981 and operates an engineering ecosystem of multiple offerings across hardware, embedded systems, identity, telecom, and building automation. AmbiAutomation is the building-automation company within that ecosystem. AmbiSecure (hardware-rooted identity, FIDO and JavaCard platforms) is a featured sister platform within the same ecosystem; the eSIM Initiative — a SIM-based authentication platform built on eUICC / RSP architecture — is a focused offering within AmbiSecure.
AmbiAutomation and its sibling platforms share the same Ahmedabad engineering organisation, the same embedded-systems competence, the same hardware supply chain, and the same manufacturing capacity. Customer deliverables — schematics, firmware, cloud, mobile applications, support — come from the same building.

AmbiAutomation's hardware, firmware, cloud, supervisory application, and field-deployment functions all report into one engineering organisation in Ahmedabad. No outsourced layers, no subcontracted firmware, no third-party mobile app.
Edge logic on the gateway
RTOS-based firmware running schedules, alarms, and BACnet / MODBUS stacks on the on-site server. Edge-resident control survives backhaul outages. Signed OTA updates.
Supervisory plane
Cloud services, supervisory web console, native iOS and Android applications. Role-based access, audit log, multi-site rollups. Read-only roles for executive dashboards.
Deployment engineering
Site survey, design, procurement, installation, commissioning, acceptance test, and post-install operation. Same engineering organisation; one point of accountability.
Manufacturing
Designed, manufactured, and assembled in India.
Ambimat Group's Ahmedabad facility manufactures the HVAC Bridge Board and adjacent gateway hardware on the same shop floor that produces electronics for AmbiSecure and the eSIM Initiative. Mature supply chain, qualified component vendors, and decades of embedded electronics production discipline.

Quality & compliance
Built to operate in commercial buildings.
HVAC Bridge Board hardware is built to operate continuously inside HVAC control panels. IP65 enclosure, 1.5 kV galvanic Ethernet isolation, up to 15 kV serial isolation, 8–26 VAC tolerant power input, and integrated real-time clock. Firmware is signed; OTA updates are authenticated end-to-end.

AmbiAutomation is deployed across multiple commercial buildings in India, with engineering and support delivered from Ahmedabad and remote operations support available globally. The supervisory application is localised for English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
India — primary market
Tier-1 and tier-2 commercial real estate, hotels, hospitals, institutions, retail, and light industrial facilities. On-site support out of Ahmedabad.
Global — selective deployments
Remote-supervised deployments outside India where the on-site server can be configured for local protocols and time zones, with regional system integrators handling field work.
