Schedules

Recurring or one-off, by zone, floor, or tenant. Day-types, holidays, lockouts.

Live setpoints

Adjust setpoints, modes, fan speeds. See current return-air, mode, and fault state.

Alarms

Drift, runaway, comms loss — pushed to the right people. Acknowledge, route, escalate.

Audit log

Every override, schedule change, and alarm acknowledgment — captured with user + timestamp.

Role-based access

FM, ops, tenant, contractor — least-privilege defaults. SSO available on request. For sites that require hardware-bound operator credentials — FIDO2 keys, smartcards, or PIV — Ambimat's AmbiSecure secure identity infrastructure covers that layer.

Multi-site

Multiple buildings, one dashboard. Drill in by site, by floor, by zone.

Designed for the floor

Designed for daily facility operation.

Traditional BMS interfaces are built for an operator sitting at a workstation. The AmbiAutomation supervisory application is built for the facility team that actually walks the building — a setpoint override on the way to a meeting, a schedule update before a long weekend, a glance at overnight energy during the morning stand-up.

  • Native iOS and Android operator apps; web console for operations teams
  • Read-only role for executive dashboards; full audit log for every change
  • Offline-tolerant: queues operator actions during transient backhaul loss
  • Localised for English, Hindi, and Gujarati
  • Designed for low-end devices and patchy site networks

The fastest evaluation path is a walkthrough on your own HVAC fleet. Send a short site brief and our engineering team will schedule a session within one business day.

Frequently asked

Common questions.

What can I do from the mobile app?

View and change setpoints, schedules, and occupancy profiles across zones and sites. Acknowledge alarms, apply overrides, review daily consumption, and export reports. Role-based access controls what each user can see and change.

Does the app replace the wall thermostat?

It coexists. Local thermostats and OEM controllers keep working. The app is the supervisory plane above them — providing centralised scheduling, cross-zone visibility, and alarm handling that a local thermostat can't. For sites that want to consolidate, wall thermostats can be locked to display-only.

Is role-based access supported?

Yes. Roles include Facility Manager (full control), Operator (schedule and override only), Occupant (limited setpoint band), and Auditor (read-only). Access is scoped per site so a multi-site portfolio can have different admins per building.

Can I control multiple sites from one login?

Yes. Multi-site users see a rollup dashboard showing consumption, alarms, and schedule adherence across all sites. Drill-down opens the per-site view. Cross-site reporting and benchmarking are built-in.
